Chihuahua

Breed standards for this dog do not generally specify a height; only a weight and a description of their overall proportions. As a result, height varies more than within many other breeds. Generally, the height ranges between six and ten inches; however, some dogs grow as tall as 12 to 15 inches (30 to 38 cm). Both British and American breed standards state that a Chihuahua must not weigh more than six pounds for conformation. However, the British standard also states that a weight of two to four pounds is preferred and that if two dogs are equally good in type, the more diminutive one is preferred. The Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) standard calls for dogs ideally between 1.5 and 3.0 kg (3.3 and 6.6 lbs.), although smaller ones are acceptable in the show ring.[8] Pet-quality Chihuahuas (that is, those bred or purchased as companions rather than show dogs) often range above these weights, even above ten pounds if they have large bone structures or are allowed to become overweight. This does not mean that they are not purebred Chihuahuas; they do not meet the requirements to enter a conformation show. Oversized Chihuahuas are seen in some of the best, and worst, bloodlines. Typically, the breed standard for both the long and short coat chihuahua will be identical except for the description of the coat

Yorkshie Terrier (yorkie)

Yorkie

The Yorkshire Terrier is a small dog breed of terrier type, developed in the 19th century in the county of Yorkshire, England, to catch rats in clothing mills, also used for rat-baiting. The defining features of the breed are its maximum size of 7 pounds (3.2 kg) and its gray, black, and tan coat. The breed is nicknamed Yorkie and is placed in the Toy Terrier section of the Terrier Group by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale and in the Toy Group or Companion Group by other kennel clubs, although all agree that the breed is a terrier. A popular companion dog, the Yorkshire Terrier has also been part of the development of other breeds, such as the Australian Silky Terrier.

A Twist In The Tail Of Time

Dogs can change over thousands of years.Maybe a breed of dogs once had toes.Amazing changes have occured over the past thousands of years. When you think a dog could've done anything a long time ago. They could have.Dogs are very interesting maybe they could've flown. We don't know. But it would be great if a scientiest figured out all of that.It was probably a long time ago.

But animals change.Dogs could've done most anything. How do they change? What did they do?We can only gues or imagen. But don't just think of the past, think of the future to.

French Bulldog

French Bulldogs

French Bulldogs are good companions.  But house training can take up to six months. Because they get bored easily and will not focus.  And if they get left alone for long hours they will bark constantly and will make the neighbors go loco.  Frenchies are one of the best companion breeds in the world.  They are usually not high maintenence, they have short fur.  Their ears are fairly big for their tiny size and their small appearance is a cover for their big attitude.  They are good with families.  Should not be a pet to a child under the age of 8.  They can be high maintenence in attitude.  They grunt, bark, and snort.  Frenchies get to be about 25 lbs at the most.  They are fairly small. They have a big personality, sweet, brave, smart, loyal, loving and they have an attitude.  They will get upset when left alone and they will feel separated from the owner.  When you do train Frenchies you have to mix up a bunch of tricks.  You can't do one trick each session or they'll get bored.  Sessions are short, and when they do a trick, they need to be rewarded with affection and a treat.  They usually do not get tumors, and they eat small portions, they should get walked almost once a day.  If you want a French Bulldog you cannot work long hours (5 or more).  Frenchies need a small bowl of water.  They do not need as much medicine because they have a small body.  That means it might be cheaper and it's good for some families.  But Frenchies have other requirements.Frenchies also can pass VERY STINCKY gass! The breed is still nice but they also have their" Butty" side!

My Puppies

My dogs' names are Buckshot and Scooby.  We may get another dog.  Buckshot is 12 years old.  He is a Boxer.  Scooby is 4 years old.  He is a Bullmastiff.  I love all dogs.  My dogs are friendly, and really good with kids.  I love my dogs because they are really sweet.  Though they don't fetch or do many tricks, they are really fun to love.  Even though you have to clean up after them and feed them they are still really good housepets.  Scooby probably would not do well with an elderly person as an owner.  He is high maintenence sometimes.  They can be expensive, special food, and medications.  We don't buy them clothes because we spend money on health for them.  They each have their own bed, they are not allowed on the couch.  Scooby is usually crated or stays outside in the backyard with water, a bed, and blanket.  My dogs are good with new people.  They need to be fed once a day and drink water a lot.  Scooby can swim, but he is lazy, so he won't.  But Buckshot can't swim, he would drown.  One time he slipped and fell into the pool, so one of our friends in the pool swam and led him to the opening.  We were lucky he made it.  They both have suffered tumors.  And Scooby once had fleas.  They each get heartworm medicine and pepto bismol when they make weird noises.  That usually means they do not feel good.  Our dogs are not pampered.  They get what they need, love, food, water, and a home.  Me and my family will love our dogs before and after the end.  Always.

German Shepherd

German Shepherds are smart, protective and popular.  German Shepherds are used for Police Dogs.  They help with bombs, sniffing out criminals and finding drugs.  They are good with children, but unfamiliar children or adults should not just come up to a German Shepherd and pet it.  Sometimes they need training.  They are easy to train, usually.  They do shed and can get fleas.  German Shepherds are easy to find at any puppy store or shelter.
German Shepherds need to be walked at least once a day.  They have lots of energy.  Most German Shepherds like to swim.  They are very protective to their family and will alarm the family when an intruder comes.  German Shepherds can be up to about 150 lbs, they get very big, and bark constantly.  When they hear a scream or whine from a family member, they will bark.  German Shepherds can also be used as seeing eye dogs.  They have very long fur and their fur needs to be washed nearly once a month.  German Shepherds need to be fed once a day.  When they do something good or perform a trick they need to be rewarded.
They usually have a good temper, it's easier to have a German Shepherd since it was a puppy.  It can be a little rude to new people.  They usually need to be crated when strangers come into the house.  Meeting new people can be hard for German Shepherds.  They usually are good with children more often than adults.  German Shepherds are cute, get very big, will bite, and they can get some sicknesses.  They get to be about 14 years old.

Bullmastiff

Bullmastiffs are similar to the breed of Boxers.  Very cute, have a sense of humor, and be prepared for lots of drooling.  Great companions, often found at shelters, they can be bred to have special markings on their foreheads.  Bullmastiffs are easily mixed up with Boxers.  They have a good temper, protective, and they do have a built in sad face.  But they are still happy, when their tail wags.
Bullmastiffs can get to be up to 120 lbs, they are pretty big, really good with children but can knock them down by playing.  They aren't rough, they are smart, and need to be walked five times a week.  They need to have water at all times.  Do not overfeed, they will get fat.  They can get fleas and develop tumors.

Do not overfeed!!

Husky

Huskies are very interesting.  If you try to make them cooler during the summer, and cut their fur, it will mess up their system.  The fur system is very weird.  Huskies are great with children, Syberian Huskies are popular for dog sledding.
They are used in Alaska.  Often, you may find a Husky puppy in a pet shop near you.
